Tea Party and Occupy Movements Unite

If the Tea Party and Occupy movements could come together it would be big trouble for the social viruses making America sick. Those who are harming American society don’t need to worry about me causing change. While my words may have some insight it will take at least 10 years for others to come to the same conclusion. By then the situation will have changed enough that we’ll probably need a different plan.

If people were Tea Partying 17 years ago it would have changed world history. I can’t really remember how long ago it was when I was the lone Tea Partier. Even when I was enamored with the Tea Party idea I could see some serious flaws in that ideology. One flaw was that we needed to trust business to never do something that would jeopardize the system they relied on for survival. Well, trusting businesses not to destroy the economic system for short term gains was a mistake. It turns out their survival was not tied to the system as tightly as I thought. If a giant business gets into trouble they can always ask the government to make more money. Time for the Tea Party alone to change America has past.

Keeping things the way they are now is not going to work too well. What we need to do is something different. First we need to realize blaming others is not going to solve anything. We need to Accept where we’re at politically, historically, economically, and geographically. Next we need to develop a plan for moving past this crisis. A plan is part of the Rules of progression. Here progression in not associated with liberal progressives but the progress of getting to one’s goals.

Solidity is never as popular as segmentation
There will be some liberals who accuse me of being elitist or overly nationalistic. There will be conservatives who say I am a loony hippy liberal. I have been living with one foot in opposite camps all my life. Taking a broad view and working within two different ideological systems has been a hallmark of my dog training career. The dog training ideology I like the most is the ideology I am the most critical of. When I think back, even in elementary school I had friends who were enemies and had totally different beliefs. So I might have a unique point of view that cannot be easily shared with others. Or at least it has little chance of becoming popular. This last fact should put the big banks and politicians who are harming America at ease.

As usual I am looking at the big picture and where we’re at in history.

There are some disadvantages to not taking a firm stand with what your preferred in group expounds.  One disadvantage is it’s harder to really work a market segment. This brings me to a critical point, segmenting the market may be good for making a profit but it shouldn’t be used to rule a large developed county. I know it’s good politics to demonize the opposition. The only problem with this is the emotions used to develop the “us and them” segmentations are related to racism.  I call this “displaced racism.”

There are very few people who can transcend the primitive emotions leading to “us and them” discrimination. Displaced racism is a natural outcome of a two party system. Here Cultural Rules are supported by the Rules of Nature. If you are going to be a politician in America you almost have to work this system. For politicians encouraging displaced racism and courting corporate manipulation is part of the Rules of their Chosen Pursuit.

I am not against the government helping corporations. To stay competitive in a world market we’ll probably need to have some kind of a corporate/government alliance. However, we need to rewrite the rules for these relationships.

This is one question every American needs to answer. Is fostering an “Us and Them society” good for America?

If my ideas ever end up being more conservative than the conservatives and/or more liberal than the liberals many will not realize it. This is because we’re blinded by our own emotions of segmentation.
