A little background on why I think we need to work together. First I think both the grass roots Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street movement want a government that is not for sale. I don’t think the grass roots Tea Party folks or those in the Occupy Wall Street movement want our government taking more taxes from citizens and giving that money to big corporations. Especially if those corporations are going to just use the money in reckless ways or invest it in other countries. I also believe that most people don’t want to pay taxes to “too big to fail companies.” America doesn’t want to pay taxes to bail out the largest companies. I think many of those companies only have contempt for the American people. The political practices of many of these companies is like a virus that has invaded the DNA of America. There are remedies but treating the patient by making the viruses stronger is probably not one of them. The grass roots Tea Party and Occupy movements are the social organism’s way of trying to get rid of the bad viruses. What the grass roots Tea Party and Occupy movements are saying is [...]

If the Tea Party and Occupy movements could come together it would be big trouble for the social viruses making America sick. Those who are harming American society don’t need to worry about me causing change. While my words may have some insight it will take at least 10 years for others to come to the same conclusion. By then the situation will have changed enough that we’ll probably need a different plan. If people were Tea Partying 17 years ago it would have changed world history. I can’t really remember how long ago it was when I was the lone Tea Partier. Even when I was enamored with the Tea Party idea I could see some serious flaws in that ideology. One flaw was that we needed to trust business to never do something that would jeopardize the system they relied on for survival. Well, trusting businesses not to destroy the economic system for short term gains was a mistake. It turns out their survival was not tied to the system as tightly as I thought. If a giant business gets into trouble they can always ask the government to make more money. Time for the Tea Party alone [...]

Occupy Wall Street how will you influence government? Will you be a flash in the pan or will you implement lasting change? Now that November 17th is wrapping up we need to debrief. The police will be planning on how to stop any future marches. The people seeking to change the direction of America need to decide on their next move. Not only the next move but what is this for? What is the purpose of Occupy Wall Street? The events of today made me realize how important keeping communications free and open are to democracy and the future of America. Observing that several accredited news reporters were arrested today emphasizes the need to keep a free and open press. Not to mention that most main stream reporters are afraid to cover events when the police tell them to leave or they’ll lose their press passes. If they lose their press passes they lose their jobs. I have noticed that the Occupy Wall Street movement has no cohesive message or goals. The measures I propose are inline with economic realities and traditional American values I think we can all agree that America must have the tools needed for a modern [...]

I have not always agreed that Occupy Wall Street was a movement I wanted to actively take part in. I don’t think we should stop or disrupt the markets. We are a part of the system and need to work within that system. However, as I watch the November 17th demonstration I am beginning to think that Occupy Wall Street may be a fitting name for a movement we can all get behind. I am not advocating closing markets, but I think that the people should have some say in how the markets are used. The markets should not be designed to harm America. The markets need to be used for the good of the nation. It turns out that we should not only try to Occupy Wall Street but we must Occupy Wall Street. I’m still no advocating closing markets. I am advocating that the people occupy in a meaningful and more symbolic way. Who is supposed to represent the people? Yes the government. We need to elect representatives who advocate the good of America and the good of the people. The American people need to Occupy Wall Street with good governance. Good governance in our current system requires [...]

I don’t think we can realistically put all the blame on the wealthiest people in America for our current problems. Sure they are the leaders and policy makers but it’s only natural to make policies to enhance one’s own position. Business is a very competitive game. In fact blaming anyone at this point is useless. What we need to do is figure a way where we can rebuild America. Part of rebuilding will be establishing policies that benefit the nation and those who are not quite as fortunate as the top 5 percent. While I think we will need to develop an egalitarian economic system someday. That someday may be 500 years in the future. At this time in history a completely egalitarian system is not practical. However, at this time in history planting the seed may be very important. The Occupy Wall Street movement may find that ideologically attacking the top 1 percent is useful. It even feels that in some way there is moral justification in taking the super wealthy to task. However, at this time in history the top 1 percent still play important roles in world order. There will always be people who have a great [...]

Hatred only leads to more hatred. You must accept the police as you would accept your family. At first the police may seem like the enemy but they are not. They’re just part of the system you are trying to change. Someday they may protect the system you help build. When you have armored and armed men facing peaceful masses they are either afraid or big bullies. Let’s hope the one’s hired to protect us are not bullies who only enjoy hurting people. I have heard there is a certain trill to wantonly massacring or beating down a lot of beings. I believe this is one of the thrills of hunting dangerous game. I am not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, however it’s not good to treat people in this manner. Let us hope the police do not think of the people helping the Occupy Wall Street movement as animals to bag. When people hurt other they are often controlled by primitive emotions. In a civil society we should strive to control and transcend our animal nature at least domestically and during times of peace. If you are going to peacefully protest against the armored and armed be [...]

I have been interested in and lightly following the Occupy Wall Street movement for almost two months. But something changed a couple days ago. I watched the New York Police raid the Occupy Wall Street village. Now the whole movement has become more interesting. I have spent more and more time thinking about how this may be the time to safeguard America’s future by mobilizing policy changes. The system of corporate money running politics is broken. You cannot have a moral government run by organizations that are not moral. A corporation’s sole purpose is to make a profit. That profit does not need to benefit any entity other than the corporation. This leads to business decisions based solely on profits, not on what is best for the country or the citizens of a country. When breaking the law is profitable the law will be broken. When hurting the people of a country is profitable then that is what will be done. When hurting national security is profitable that will be done. That is what is meant by “it’s just a business decision.” Can America allow mercenaries to control congress and the senate? I am definitely not against large corporations. It [...]

Just got back from a Pam Sterling Quantum Leap Elite talk about making a quantum leap in your life. In the talk she said she was giving us a choice we could have the soft fluffy talk or the prickly talk. Most of the people wanted the prickly talk. But they were led to this conclusion with a story about a mother eagle taking all the soft feathers out of the nest when the fledglings need to learn how to fly. The message is if the nest is prickly and sticks a baby bird it is more likely to leave the nest. I found this little exercise interesting in itself and it may have broader implications than just how many people want to learn with the help of aversives. I am not giving a choice, I usually give the prickly presentation by default. However, while being truthful I really try to be positive. The fact is that nature is often not soft and fluffy, but instead is like a sharp spine ready to pierce your flesh. How we plan for and adapt to the spines determines the degree of the injury. A case in point is the fukushima nuclear disaster. [...]

2011 Dog Days Of Summer I have been very quiet about this year’s RenChenZa Dog Days Of Summer. Since last year’s lack of interest I decided that I would try to just focus on business and not worry myself with implementing any crazy RenChenZa programs. Well I found out that is not my nature. so this year I have been planning for a project. At this point I am working on a budget for an exploratory project and thinking about forming a nonprofit org. Today at a motivational type meeting is the first time I have mentioned the RenChenZa Dog Days Of Summer to a few people and it was only in passing. You can expect to hear more about my project as we get into the next year. Wishing all of you the very best
